Building Trauma Responsive Communities Introduction workshop

Registration is closed for this event

VCSE groups and organisations often work with people who have experienced trauma in their lives, and it can be hard to know what the best way is to support them.

By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Have a better understanding of what trauma is.
  • Consider how trauma impacts on how you work with people.
  • Have a greater awareness of what trauma responsive practice is.

Target Audience
Senior leaders/managers from organisations who can make decisions about whether they want to commit to their organisation becoming a trauma responsive organisation, which could involve making decisions about policies and practice.

Up to £1,500 funding will be available for groups that complete the training to support them to undertake practical actions to become a trauma responsive organisation.*

This training course is free for those who work or volunteer with voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) organisations that operate in Salford.
