Salford CVS VCSE Conference 2024: Climate Crisis, Keep Calm and Carry On?
At this year's conference we focused the conversation on the Climate Crisis and the role of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector. The conference was held on Wednesday 30th October 2024 at Salford Community Stadium.
We had fantastic key speakers who inspired us to think about our role in helping to combat the climate crisis in Salford, and how we can consider important issues such as accessibility, community involvement and how we can come up with tangible actions that include the diverse communities we have in Salford.
In the morning we heard from speakers Dr Emma Geen and Pam Warhurst CBE. We were joined in the afternoon by our panel of speakers, Bec Bennett, Andrew Swarbrick, Emma Gardner, Ian Bocock, and Michael Hemmingway.
