Description:

Tasks and duties

Photographing products to an agreed standard
Uploading products with description to agreed online sales channels
Updating spreadsheet to keep track of items listed with description and pricing.
Uploading products to social media to advertise the Stork Store and different sales channels.
Creating reels and other posts about Stork Store and Visit from the Stork to increase followers and ask for donations
Collecting items from the Emmanuel Centre on a designated day to photograph at home.
Taking Stork Store products to groups to sell and take payment via the Square app/ cash.
Keeping in touch with the Stork Store manager for updates/ any help you may need.

Skills and qualifications that may be needed or developed:

We are looking for passionate, friendly and enthusiastic individuals to help increase awareness of Stork Store and Visit from the Stork overall through our social media channels, which will in turn increase both sales of products and increase of items donated to us.

Our volunteers will be trained in how to upload items to our website and various sales channels such as Vinted, Etsy, Ebay, Facebook, plus Instagram. This is a collaborative role and if there is any other relevant training you would like for the position please speak to us so you can get the most out of your volunteering.

Ideally, our volunteer will be someone interested in supporting Visit from the Stork and have some knowledge of how to use some social media platforms. Retail experience would also be helpful but not essential.
