Volunteer Opportunities
Make a Difference as a Volunteer Befriender with Cyril Flint Befrienders
Join us at Cyril Flint Befrienders and make a lasting impact on the lives of older people in Greater Manchester.
By volunteering just one hour a week, you can transform someone's day and brighten their world. Our volunteers visit individuals who live alone and have little to no contact with friends and family. Your friendly visits, sharing a cup of tea and a chat, provide much-needed companionship and emotional support.
As a befriender, you’ll offer more than just your time; you’ll bring joy, boost self-esteem, and give someone something to look forward to each week. Unlike professional services, your visits are purely because you care, and this genuine connection can help reduce social isolation and loneliness.
Experience the joy of seeing a genuine friendship blossom and flourish. Sign up today and be a true friend to someone who needs it. Together, we can make a world of difference, one visit at a time.
