Description:

Support parents, deliver Being A Parent course, which looks at the importance of looking after yourself, as well as communication skills and parenting strategies.
Volunteer will help parents/carers to increase their confidence and build relationships within their own family and with the wider community.

What is the duration of the volunteering opportunity?: Long term
Skills and qualifications that may be needed or developed:

Need to be parent of a child age 2- 12 years.
Training will be provided - based on Being A Parent course, and delivery skills.
Confidence will be built up over course of 10 weeks training.
Reflective log (diary) will need to be completed weekly which will be submitted and will leads to certificate of accreditation.
