Volunteer Opportunities
Support older people in Strength & Balance Classes (Postural Stability) providing assistance to tutors.
• To meet and greet participants
• To support and settle participants into the class
• To assist in the set-up of the class
• Where appropriate, to assist in delivery of class by demonstrating seated exercise options
• To supervise participants practising balance exercises
• To assist staff with refreshments after exercise
• To chat with participants about their wellbeing during the course
• To help participants plan to improve their wellbeing and quality of life, signposting them to community activities, campaigns and events as appropriate
