The Third Sector Fund is Salford CVS' largest grants programme. It is split into around 7 distinct funds per year, such as the Impact, Health and Wellbeing and Healthy Schools Partnership Funds.

Established in 2014, with funding from NHS Salford Integrated Care Partnership (previously NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group), the Third Sector Fund supports over 200 voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector-led projects each year. These projects directly address the health and wellbeing priorities identified by local communities.
