About the Forum
The Vocal Citywide Youth Network was established in June 2024 to bring together neighbourhood youth partnerships and connect VCSE and statutory organisations working with young people across Salford.
Our aim
The network aims to create opportunities for partnership and collaboration between voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and public sector partners, ensuring the best outcomes for young people in Salford.
Our objectives
- Encourage collaboration: Foster connections between youth organisations across the city to work together effectively.
- Avoid duplication: Coordinate efforts to reduce overlap and ensure resources are used efficiently.
- Share and learn: Exchange knowledge, policies, and guidelines to strengthen youth services.
- Raise the profile of youth work: Highlight and celebrate the incredible work being done with young people in Salford.
Meetings
The network meets quarterly, providing a space to discuss important topics, share ideas, and work towards common goals.
Membership
Membership is open to all voluntary, community, social enterprise and public organisations working with young people across Salford on a citywide level or seeking to connect with others.
