Salford CVS is working in partnership with the Violence Reduction Unit, 10GM and the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector in Salford to support the delivery of a community-led programme on violence reduction.

The programme works with young people aged 10-25 and their families who are living in Ordsall, Weaste, Seedley, Pendleton and Charlestown, with the intended outcomes being:

  • Improved aspirations.
  • Improved access to activities and opportunities.
  • Improved mental and physical wellbeing.
  • Improved relationships between young people and their parents/carers.
  • Improved sense of pride, respect and belonging in their community.

VCSE Organisations in this partnership are: Salford Foundation (lead partner), Salford Community Leisure, Oasis Hub MediaCityUK, Swinton Lions, I4YPC and Mancunian Way.
