Support the Department for Education in developing a new service for families and children

Are you able to help the Department for Education develop a service to help families?

DfE is working with Salford City Council to develop an online service to help families find local support.

They want to make sure that it works for organisations from the Voluntary Community Faith Sector (VCFS)

They are looking to do research with VCFSs to understand your ways of working and challenges you face in your role. You would be shadowed for a morning or afternoon to see what your typical day looks like. They would ask you some questions around about how you find support for children and families and will also show you the service we are developing as we'd appreciate your feedback.

This research will take place between the 4th – 15th September 2024. The research will last for half a day. You will receive compensation for taking part.

If you’re interested, please complete this short questionnaire which should take no more than 5 minutes. A member of the Department of Education research team will be in touch if you meet the research requirements. At this point, they will go through the detail of the research. You can then decide if you wish to take part.

You will be compensated £40 per hour for your time

If you’re interested, please fill out this online form:-  https://forms.office.com/e/gXpTaq59vk  and a member of the Family Hubs Digital Project team will be in touch with more information.
