NPC and partners have received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund for a project to amplify the voices of people and communities most impacted by climate change. These voices are often the least heard from in national and local debates on our environment. This new work aims to change that.
Now, we want to hear from you to shape how this project is designed and delivered.
Come to a focus group
We will be running two focus groups to hear your thoughts:
- 2nd April, 6-8pm – for Disabled people, people from ethnic minority communities, and people facing financial insecurity
- 8th April, 12-2pm – for grassroots organisations and charities with an income of less than £1million per annum, who support Disabled people, people from ethnic minority communities, and people facing financial insecurity
We can offer a voucher of £40 to cover time attending either session.
To sign up, please email EveryonesEnvironment@thinkNPC.org, with 1-2 sentences on your background, which session you’d like to attend, and why you would like to contribute to the session. If you have any accessibility requirements, do let us know these too.
By attending the focus group, you’ll have a chance to shape the programme that we deliver. But it does not mean you’ll participate in the programme itself. Recruitment for the cohorts will be conducted separately later in the year.
If you don’t fit into the target groups above, please share with your networks to help us reach a wide range of perspectives.
Other ways to input your views
If you are unable to attend a session, but would like to share your thoughts, please complete this survey by 14th April 2025.
If you are completing the survey as an individual with lived experience of disability, racial injustice or financial insecurity then you will receive a voucher for £10 for completing the survey.
If you are completing the survey on behalf of an organisation, you will be entered into a draw to win one of four £100 vouchers for completing the survey.
