As part of our work to develop a Just Transition Hub and support community organisations in Salford, we are looking to kick-start the Community Climate Fund across the city to help address both the climate and cost of living crisis together. By supporting local community organisations and initiatives to create or develop community-led climate action initiatives.
We want to hear from a variety of community organisations across Salford. The event will provide a space for you to discuss the issues and barriers you are facing, as well as share any learnings or success stories whilst also giving you the opportunity to explore collaboration through the conversations, understanding and assessing the gaps and needs felt by yourselves and the wider community. As well as understand how the fund can support you.
Feedback from a Community Conversation attendee from our Bradford Hub. - “Understanding key issues faced by people of Bradford and making new connections. Great to be part of such an insightful and thought-provoking discussion.”
