Salford City Council and Integrated Care Partnership is looking to develop the Dementia Action Group. The group aims to involve as many individuals, and carers of people with dementia, as possible to have the opportunity to share their views about the design, delivery and evaluation of dementia health and social care services and the support available across Salford. This will be alongside partnering organisations and service provider representatives maintaining Salford as a 'dementia friendly city'.
They have developed a survey alongside Greater Manchester Dementia and Brain Health Quality Standards to identify actions for improvement. These quality standards provide a vision for the future as we work together to improve the experience of all those affected by dementia in Salford.
If you are a person with mild to moderate dementia or an unpaid family carer for someone at home who has dementia, please take 5 – 10 minutes to give us your views to feed back to the commissioners of services supporting people with dementia and their family carers in Salford.
