Creative Identity Brief

The Salford Culture and Place Partnership is seeking suitable providers to develop a creative identity/brand to communicate with, reflect and amplify creativity and culture in Salford. The central purpose of the brand is to provide the identity for an online hub which will support Salford's creatives by providing toolkits, resources and signposting - a 'one-stop-shop' for the grassroots culture sector.

The identity/brand will be a story that draws from local heritage, ideas, and future possibilities to bring Salford alive with culture and creativity. It will provide identifiable and tangible opportunities for application, for example through the creation of a website, social media presence, digital and physical assets.

Interested? Please email melissa.whittaker@salford.gov.uk to request the full brief. The deadline for submitting proposals is Monday 2nd December 2024.

Access Culture Survey

The organisation that organises the Act Green survey on sustainability issues is now launching a new survey examining access and inclusivity within cultural organisations.

Access Culture is designed to help cultural organisations:

  • Understand how audience and visitor behaviour at cultural organisations is impacted by access needs
  • Develop a baseline understanding of audience and visitor perceptions of accessibility of venues, productions, events and exhibitions
  • Gain meaningful insight to understand how to develop an offer that helps everyone feel welcome and comfortable in our cultural venues
  • Identify areas of opportunity where an inclusive approach may enhance the experience for a whole range of audiences and visitors

The survey will run from mid-November to mid-December and is free for cultural organisations in the UK to take part in. You can sign up through this quick form. They'll send you a survey link and a template email to send out to your audiences or visitors.
