Prior to seeking developers for the regeneration of Salford’s town centres (Eccles, Pendleton, Swinton) Salford City Council has commissioned a local-needs assessment and a placed-based framework for social value priorities, two documents which prospective developers will need to consider and then adhere to if they are successful at tender.
As part of this work, Salford CVS are hosting 6 separate focus group sessions, in which groups will explore the challenges that local VCSE organisations are facing in meeting the needs of our communities, and crucially how developers can contribute to aiding us through their corporate social value.
Below are dates for each of the areas - if you are unable to attend, where possible can you please ask someone else in your organisation to participate. Participants will be given a £20 voucher for taking part.
