Next Salford Creative Health Network

The next Salford Creative Health Network meeting is on Monday 4th November at Arts Let Loose at Swinton Shopping Centre. This network aims to bring together Salford’s community groups, creatives and arts organisations with Public Health teams, health and social care services to understand better the relationship between arts and health in our city.

If you’ve had personal experience of creativity improving your wellbeing – then we’d love you to join the Network. Members of lived-experience forums are especially welcome to attend, as are artists and creative practitioners. The focus of the next meeting is on Ensuring the Creative Health Network is led by local communities and their needs.

  • How do we make sure that any Creative Health plans in Salford reflect what local people really want?
  • How do we ensure creative people and communities lead this work?
  • How do we put those with the greatest health needs at the centre of any plans?
  • How do we make our work equitable and sustainable? What’s a good model to follow? How can we bring in funding to support this?
  • How do you engage key community champions without burdening them?

If you’d like to be part of the conversation where we tackle these questions, then please book your FREE ticket to the next network meeting. https://salfordcommunityleisure.co.uk/event/health-network-nov24/
