Carers Gratitude Celebration

Carer’s Week is coming up (10th-16th June). On Friday the 14th, Gaddum will be rounding off the week with their Gratitude Celebration, celebrating all carers in Salford.

They are inviting carers to come for some food, music, and goodies—and would love to see you there. If you’d like to come along and share you and your organisation’s gratitude for carers, meet with them and let them know the support they could receive from you, or even just to meet some of the wonderful carers in our community, please pop along. Feel free to bring along any brochures/leaflets about your service, as I will have a table set apart for these to go on for carers to peruse.

WHEN: June 14th, from 2pm - 4pm

WHERE: The Council Chamber (room G05) at The Old Fire Station.

  • Car Parking would be at Irwell Place Car Park directly behind the Faraday House Building, managed by paybyphone.co.uk and payment can be made by downloading their app and using location code 59323. There is a pay and display machine on the car park. Typical charges are £4 for the day or £1.20 for two hours.
  • The Old Fire Station is to the left of the Irwell Place Car Park. Please use the postcode M5 4WT for satnav.

WHY: The Carers of Salford are amazing and deserve the recognition they so often go without. This is to be a fun space to recharge, eat, and connect with support around Salford.
