Middlewood Locks Fest

A FREE canal-side neighbourhood festival will take place at Middlewood Locks in Salford to celebrate the re-opening of parts of the Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal for the first time in 15 years. Organised in collaboration with the outdoor events production team at Walk the Plank, key highlights will include live music programmed by ‘From the Other’, a makers’ market presented by artists from Islington Mill and Hot Bed Press. Swinton Theatre Project
Artist Lowri Evans is looking for performers, makers, and people to help backstage to create an unmissable theatre event in Swinton this summer. Two open days coming up this week 16 MAY 6.30-7.30pm Agnes Hopkins Community Centre and 18 MAY 11am-12pm Arts Let Loose taking place in the precinct this summer.
