Greater Manchester Combined Authority is seeking to provide contract funding for the facilitation of the Youth Combined Authority
The Youth Combined Authority (YCA) gives young people in Greater Manchester the opportunity to have their voices heard and influence policy and decision making. The YCA is made up of 26 youth groups: 10 Youth Councils of Greater Manchester and 16 organisations that engage young people from a diverse range of identities and backgrounds in our city-region.
The Panel is one of seven Greater Manchester Equality Panels that advise, support and challenge Greater Manchester’s political leaders and policymakers, and champion Greater Manchester as an inclusive city-region. www.greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk/what-we-do/equalities/
The contracted party will manage the day-to-day running of the YCA, with strategic support from GMCA officers, to achieve our shared ambitions of strong, effective youth engagement and contributing to a broader tackling inequalities agenda.
