There have been lots of funders involved in bringing the Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) to life. Salford CVS Healthy Schools Fund – funded by Salford CCG, Hamilton Davis Trust, Irlam Rotary Club, National Lottery, Salford City Council through Sugar Tax Levy and Standing together. Well done to Jude Sutton for bringing all these funds together to make this happen!
Check out the new pitch in this video and hear their plans for the future.
You can also see a week by week update a blog for the build on our school website which charts the build from Day 1 – to the end.
We are looking forward to joining the official opening ceremony where Rugby League Legend Phil Clarke will be helping ‘cut the ribbon’ of the facility. We can’t wait to celebrate this new facility opening and to see what exciting new talents will be developed when the pupils get to try the pitch out!
If you are a primary school you can apply for your own Healthy Schools Grant right now to have projects like these happen in your school.
