Salford CVS works to support the voice and influence of Salford Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations (VCSEs) in the city and beyond. We do this by facilitating Vocal thematic forums which bring together voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises in Salford to develop strategic priorities and collaborative working in the thematic following areas:
- Children, Young People & Families Forum
- Domestic Abuse & Sexual Violence Forum
- Leaders Forum
- Wellbeing, Health & Social Care Forum
Salford CVS also facilitates peer to peer support networks for VCSE organisations:
- Citywide Youth Network
- Environment Network
- Volunteer Coordinators Network

Want to attend? Simply click on the Forum title above or contact us at vocal@salfordcvs.co.uk
Membership
Membership of the thematic forums is open to all voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations operating within the city of Salford. Vocal recognises the importance of including the viewpoints of those groups lacking the resources to fully engage with consultation or commissioning processes, and therefore seeks to include under represented and volunteer led community organisations.
Being a member of a Vocal Forum enables you to:
- be personally invited to future Forum meetings
- receive reports from Forum meetings
- be informed of any updates or information relevant to the specific work area of your selected Forum
If you would like to become a member of any of the Vocal Forums, please email vocal@salfordcvs.co.uk and ask for a membership form.
