In Salford, small charities play a significant role in improving the lives of the people of Salford and making a massive difference to our community. We’d like to say a massive thank you to all of the small charities operating in Salford for their valuable contributions and the continued hard work that staff and volunteers put in to improve the lives of service users and local people.

We are proud to be part of this collective effort to recognise the power of small charities in our local communities. Small Charity Week is not only a chance to say thank you but also an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of supporting local charities through donations, fundraising, and volunteering.

Sarah Vibert, CEO of NCVO said “Small charities are the beating heart of our sector and many communities across the country. But they are facing incredibly challenging times – just as the support they offer is needed more than ever. We need a strong and resilient small charity sector.

“Small Charity Week is a fantastic moment to help celebrate, recognise and enable small charities to make an even bigger impact in their communities. I encourage everyone to get involved in Small Charity Week 2024.”
