Join us at The Beacon Centre on Thursday 18th April 2024, 1-3pm for an afternoon of open conversations and practical solutions on how to have proactive and safe conversations with service users and communities to challenge discriminatory and intolerant views and practises.
This in-person event ran by #WESTANDTOGETHER is designed to bring people together to talk about this challenging topic in a safe and respectful environment. Whether you're seasoned in working with communities or new to the role this event should give you the tools and confidence to challenge harmful rhetoric and reduce tensions.
This training is for Salford City Council staff, Councillors, community leaders and any organisations who work directly with Salford Council communities.
There is limited availability for this event and places are on a first come first served basis, so please only book if you can attend.

Once you have placed your booking a confirmation email will be circulated.
(The SSCP has re-introduced the non-attendance charging policy. Agencies will be charged if staff fail to attend if we are not informed of cancellation at least five working days before the session. The charge will be £50 and the charging notification will be sent to your manager following the course.)
