Description:

TRC Sexual Abuse & Rape Support Greater Manchester have been hosting a small arts and crafts group for Asylum Seeking Women. The Group runs every Monday from 10:00am to 11:30am at the Ashley Hotel in Hale, Altrincham. The group size varies each week, ranging from 2 to 15 participants. It's a welcoming, safe space for women to step out of their rooms, meet new people, enjoy creative activities, and engage in friendly conversation over hot drinks and snacks.

We're currently looking for an enthusiastic volunteer with a willingness to embrace a feminist, trauma-informed way of working, to assist with our women’s craft group and help ensure it runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include: Making drinks, putting out snacks, setting up and clearing away craft materials and speaking with the women who attend.
