Salford Disability Forum is a volunteer led organisation that works with and for people with disability and long-term conditions. We promote independent living, inclusion and engagement in Salford and Greater Manchester, to give people a voice in local issues that affect all aspects of life and wellbeing.
The tasks involved in this role are:
*Raising awareness of and promoting Salford Disability Forum services throughout the community.
*Providing information to people bout groups and resources that support people with disability and long-term conditions, their families and carers in Salford.
*Signposting people to relevant support depending on their needs e.g. housing, benefits etc.
*Supporting campaigns e.g. accessible transport

Wards opportunity based in: Barton & Winton, Boothstown and Ellenbrook, Broughton, Cadishead & Lower Irlam, Claremont, Eccles, Higher Irlam & Peel Green, Kersal & Broughton Park, Little Hulton, Ordsall, Pendlebury & Clifton, Swinton & Wardley, Swinton Park, Walkden North, Walkden South, Weaste and Seedley, Worsley & Westwood Park
