A flexible approach to funding

How flexible is your approach to fundraising? We know that for many of our organisations, funding is a lead priority, and when a project or target is set, it can be tempting to immediately look for ways to access significant funds, quickly. But this month, we’re urging our members to think flexibly when it comes to funding and recognise the potential of combining grant funding, or other fundraising, with easyfundraising.

An unrestricted, year-round source of funding

We partner with easyfundraising to help you access funding simply and effectively. As well as being completely free, with funds raised each time members of your community shop online courtesy of the retailer shopped with, it can provide an ongoing income stream alongside other short term fundraising activities or grant applications.

Here's a breakdown of the flexibility that easyfundraising offers compared to grant funding. It isn’t to say that you should favour one approach over the other, but a combination, including easyfundraising, is highly recommended to all our members:

It may not be as high value as a grant, but the lower effort and unrestricted nature of easyfundraising, make it a welcome addition to your fundraising strategy.

The potential is huge

Chanelle from Home Group Fund has shared her experience of easyfundraising and how well it has fitted into their fundraising plan:

“Thanks to our supporters doing their daily online shopping, we’ve raised over £2,000 in 6 months! It’s not easy for people to sponsor, take part in an event or find extra money to donate. But just by taking that extra step when they shop, they are really making a huge difference.”

easyfundraising has helped organisations like yours access a share of over £58m in free funding to date!
