Education Facilitator

Due to new funding, we are looking to recruit an innovative Education Facilitator to join our dynamic Education Team. The post is part of an established team that delivers educational packages in schools and will contribute to our growing children and young people’s services.

Education Facilitator 
15 hours per week term time only
Temporary until end of June 2026 (with the possibility of extension subject to successful funding)
£15.17 per hour

Purpose of the role:
The main area of work will involve creating, developing, promoting and delivering educational packages and workshops on domestic abuse. We consider the services we offer to children and young people a prime element of our work and there is significant responsibility in relation to support and practical assistance to help the children and young people recover from the domestic abuse they have lived with. The role will require the development of educational programmes, resources and materials to raise awareness and to support professionals, individuals and young people to recognise and respond to Stalking and Harassment. Through the delivery of our educational packages, this post will focus primarily on Stalking and Harassment and prevention of domestic abuse by working directly with young people in a classroom setting.

Key skills:

  • Knowledge of domestic abuse and its effects on adults, families, children and young people.
  • An ability to assist with work the organisation undertakes with groups of children in educating them on healthy relationships.
  • A sound understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, Early Help, Adults at Risk and a commitment to follow procedure.
