As part of our Services Team the post holder will support the delivery of all aspects of our 4 main services for unpaid Carers in Manchester: Caring4Me (Health and Wellbeing); I CAN (Young Adult Carers 16-25); Money and More (Income Maximisation and other financial/practical support); Reception (our first point of contact for all Carers and Professionals).
Duties include:
- supporting Carers through tailored one-to-one support to address financial, social, health and wellbeing needs, connecting to other services as appropriate;
- planning and delivering varied social, cultural learning respite group activities and opportunities for Carers;
- promoting our broad services to a range of audiences to reach new Carers using a range of methods, including presentations, social media posts, development of leaflets/posters
- outreach work to develop new partnerships and reach a diverse range of Carers;
- accurately capturing all engagement with Carers and Professionals carefully using our database and other information systems
- monitoring and evaluating activities, writing reports for Trustees, senior staff and funders to demonstrate impact and report progress

Holidays: 27 days plus public holidays and length of service days
Pension: 7.5%
Location: Mainly based at our Centre in Ancoats but with some potential for home working
Full time (35 hours per week) or part time (28 hours per week) is available.Starting salary is dependent on experience.The post is fixed term to July 26 (in the first instance)Manchester Carers Centre is a Real Living Wage Employer
