Organisation description: MARC is an environmentally friendly printers in Salford – established in 1975, it has been providing low cost printing to the local community and beyond for 50 years.
MARC promotes sustainable printing practices, uses recycled materials, and specialises in vegetable inks. They run Risograph workshops, for individual artists and small groups, as well as providing DIY printing services, with priority given to those with least resources.
A not-for-profit multi-stakeholder Co-op, MARC is run by a Board, elected annually from its membership of community groups, charities and other voluntary sector organisations.
MARC also undertakes commercial work.
