Organisation description: We have recently formed as a new group and our aims will focus on reducing social isolation and loneliness, helping people with cost of living crisis and improving people's health and wellbeing. We will be doing this by running activities that are open to Salford residents that meet these aims, such as Brew Crew as weekly social group who's members meet to chat and play some board games; the Invisible Illness group which we hope to start again soon, this helps people living with invisible illnesses to receive support from group members and have a listening and understanding ear if they are struggling. We will also be gathering local information about help and provision available so that we can signpost people to appropriate help as they need, for example, foodbanks, food clubs, warm spaces etc. We will be talking to our members to find out what their ideas are for the group and working towards putting these in place when possible. We are based in Walkden but we are open to anyone who wishes to join and people will be able to keep in touch with us through our social media.
