Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for some volunteers to help us with a Salford City Council event that is taking place in Swinton on Thursday 16th & Friday 17th January called Swinton Ark. Some info about the event below:

Created by projection artists Illuminos, this unique and one of a kind sound and light show has been created directly in response to Swinton and its residents, to tell their story. Featuring moments gathered by local artist Lowri Evans, the entirety of the Town Hall’s 70 metre facade will come alive with 3d mapped animation, music and sound.

The shift times would be (you don't have to be available for both):
- Thursday 16th Jan: 4.30pm - 8.30pm
- Friday 17th Jan: 4.30pm - 8.30pm

We will provide refreshments and cover your travel costs. (There is a train station & buses from the city centre).

Please note this is an outdoor event.

Volunteer roles would include helping us hand out information flyers about the event to passers by and helping the production team around the site.
