Description:

Volunteer Mentors are human beings at their very best. They give 2-3 hours a week of their time to support a young person age 16-25 who needs a consistent reliable adult for practical and emotional support.

Volunteer Mentors work on a 1:1 basis with a young person who has left or is about to leave care (children's home or foster care). Together they tackle any issues the young person may be facing and celebrate achievements along the way.

Young care leavers age 16-25 need access to consistent reliable adults in the local community that can offer 2-3 hours a week to focus on any practical or emotional needs the young person may have.

All young people setting up home for the first time face challenges that are difficult to deal with alone, having a friendly trusted person to turn to can be life changing.

We offer full training and bucket loads of support.
