Volunteer Opportunities
Salford CVS are developing a network of voulenteers in partnership with Salford Family Hubs and Early Help Service to provide additional support to the Family Hubs and enhance the services offered to local Parents Carers and Children. Family Hub Welcome Volunteers are supported by the VCSE and Voulenteer Engagament Workers (Family Hubs) at Salford CVS.
Purpose of the Role
Family Hub Welcome Voulenteers offer a friendly point of contact for Parents Carers and Children visiting the Family Hubs and help to create a welcoming environment within hubs.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Family Hub Welcome Voulenteering role may include the following:
• Greet and welcome people visiting the Family Hub
• Helping to create a welcoming environment within hubs
• Provide directions and information to visitors
• Organising welcome area, play areas and equipment
• Talking and listening to Parents and Carers
• Display information on noticeboards
• Support Early Help Admin Team

This role is available Monday to Friday. We ask that voulenteers commit to attending regular days.
