Opportunity hosted by: NSPCC Children Childline(Salford)
Description:

We are holding regular Childline Volunteer Information Meeting online nationally.
At the information meeting you will be given the opportunity to find out more about the role and meet current staff and volunteers. This will give you the time to ask any questions and give you an insight into Childline.
Whether on phone or online, Childline is available 365 days a year to support children and young people, whatever their worry.
We aim to answer every contact made to Childline and to offer comfort, advice and protection and we need over 2000 volunteers across the UK to make that possible.
Volunteers are not there to solve children's problems or tell them what to do, they offer a confidential space to talk through whatever is worrying the young person.
Volunteering with Childline for as little as 4 1/4 hours a week can help thousands of children and young people.
