Neighbourhood Watch in Salford, is launching a heartfelt initiative to tackle loneliness among elderly and disabled adults in the community.
The idea is simple yet powerful: encouraging young people to create Mother’s Day and Easter cards to show those who may feel isolated that they are not alone. Alongside the cards, they are also seeking donations of flowers and chocolates to make these gestures even more special.
How You Can Get Involved
This is a fantastic opportunity for community organisations to spread positivity to the people of Salford.
If you’d like to contribute, here are the key details:
- Mother’s Day Cards: Please drop them off by 20th March 2025 (Mother’s Day is Sunday, 30th March 2025).
- Easter Cards: Please drop them off by 7th April 2025 (Easter Sunday is 20th April 2025).
Place the cards in a big envelope marked FAO Inara Dundure and drop them off at:
