Winner of Portrait of Britain in 2019 & 2023, photographer Allie Crewe working with Salford City Council and Salford CVS is showcasing the stories of Salford’s Disabled staff through a compelling exhibition at Swinton Gateway.
‘Still I Rise 2 is a powerful collection of stories and portraits, offering a unique glimpse into the lives of disabled individuals working in the city’s public and voluntary sectors.
For the first time, the new collection of 11 portraits is available for public viewing at Swinton Gateway exhibition space. The exhibition Launches on Monday 2nd December 2024 6-7.30pm during Disability History Month and runs until January 2025.
