Who do you work with?: Children (aged 12 - 15), Young people (aged 16-19)
Organisation description: Salford Youth Council is a group of 11-21 year olds who represent the voice of young people in Salford. As a group the young people work on campaigns which matter to young people, and are consulted on issues which effect young people, whilst creating positive stories of young people.
Salford Youth Council is affiliated with and has representatives on the Greater Manchester Youth Combined Authority, and Youthforia (North West regional).
Salford Youth Council is responsible for the Member of Youth Parliament for Salford, and the Young Mayor of Salford. The delivery of national consultation 'Make Your Mark', and youth elections.
Salford Youth Council work with any groups or agencies who can help us make a positive change within the community of Salford.
Salford Youth Council is supported by Salford Youth Service.
