Organisation description: Cleggs Lane Gardening is a constituted group that is ran by volunteers, and supported by Cleggs Lane Methodist church's community manager.
The group runs every Monday and Thursday 10.00-15.00. The facilities consist of all the garden areas, a nature trail, 2 green houses, a Polytunnel that is still under construction and raised flower beds (for wheel chair access).
People from all walks of life in the local community are able to come and take part in meaningful activity, gain gardening/food growing knowledge and increase work skills and build confidence. Members of the local community are able to come and be inspired to learn gardening skills, learn about creating a vegetable /fruit or herb plot and use these skills at home.
