Organisation description: DIY is an established Theatre company of learning Disabled performers .We have been creating entertaining , accessible and thought -provoking theatre since 1994. The majority of board members are disabled people . We use the Theatre for building confidence ,self esteem and social interaction and to allow people with learning difficulties to achieve their potential and contribute to society .Our performance and workshops predominantly tour special schools across the region , but we also put on performance at other venues .DIY holds drama drop in sessions and other creative art workshops for adults with learning difficulties .DIY is also a training and support agency agency for Art Awards .
