Organisation description: Hot Bed Press is one of the largest print workshops in the UK. Based in Salford on the edge of Manchester and is generously equipped for screenprint, etching studio, relief print, letterpress, book arts and more. We offer an extensive programme of over 50 weekend and evening courses annually, and also run the renowned 1 - 3 year Complete Printmaker course.
As well as membership, which is open to anyone, currently at over 300 members, Hot Bed Press also houses 21 artists’ studios, runs a scholarship and placement scheme with local universities and works with other arts organisations to run events, outreach workshops and projects across Salford and Greater Manchester. As well as putting on exhibitions regionally and nationally they also organise The 20:20 Print Exchange, with workshops from the UK and around the world exchanging thousands of prints each year and creating new connections and awareness between print workshops.
