Organisation description: Salford Community Leisure Limited (SCL) was established as a community benefit society in 2003. Salford Community Leisure manages:
- 14 sport and leisure facilities that includes 7 swimming pools, an athletics track and specialist gymnastics facility;
- a diverse teams of development officers delivering sport and leisure to local communities;
- 11 community centres;
- Library and Information Service, which includes 16 libraries, a mobile library service and schools' library service;
- Museums and Heritage Service (including Ordsall Hall and Salford Museum and Art Gallery; and
- Arts Development.
