"We are a registered charity working in the field of fostering, adoption, children & young people with disabilities, residential care for children, family support social work teams and supported accommodation for single and teenage parents and resettlement work. Part of the role of CCRS is the provision of a family support team. The family support team consists of a team manager and 7 qualified social workers who are based at our Didsbury and Blackburn offices. The social workers have a wide range of experience of working with children and families. We support families to improve relationships and to prevent problems escalating. The service is aimed at supporting parents who experience difficulties with the practical and emotional demands of bringing up children. The social workers use a wide range of methods to effect change and promote positive parenting. This work can take place within the home or a neutral venue."
