Organisation description: MERC provides learning opportunities for adults who have been through a period of disruption in their lives and are seeking to make a fresh start. The disruption may have taken the form of problems with : offending behaviour, substance misuse, homelessness, learning difficulties or mental ill health. We aim to provide a supportive and safe environment where students can identify their goals and receive assistance from tutors and volunteers in overcoming their barriers that have prevented them from achieving their goals in the past.
