Organisation description: St. John's Bowling Club provides bowling opportunities for people of all ages in both a competitive and social environment.
We currently have 3 teams competing in local leagues and also organise social bowling events where League bowlers and social bowlers play together.
We also support sessions for the Salford Health Improvemnt Team encouraging the participation of new bowlers.
A lot of our members are over 60 and the Club contributes to their physical and mental wellbeing, which we promote to all our members.
Bowling is a sport where young and old can compete together at the same level and so helps with social interaction between the generations.
