Organisation description: We provide emotional, social, and practical support to the widowed community and others in need due to bereavement. Our aim is to reduce social isolation and loneliness. We provide support regardless of age, ethnicity, color, nationality, faith, disability, race, religion, sexuality, etc. We are a volunteer-led organisation that supports individuals in need due to bereavement across Greater Manchester. We are based in Manchester. We run various services such as befriending (Telephone & face to face), online bingo, craft and quizzes, the celebration of key dates ( Christmas, valentine and mother's day), Meal out/day out trip, and Spa day to help in Promoting Social Inclusion.
We promote a volunteering vision as well, providing volunteering opportunities such as befriending, e.g volunteers including placement students.
Note:
Due to the covid19 we closed down our wellbeing activities (Creativity) centers and moved to online services, hopefully our centres we be back on again.
