Organisation description: Northern Air Hospital Radio provides a hospital radio and patient visiting service.
We aim to entertain and promote the welfare of the patients and staff in the hospitals served by the organisation, and to out-patients and former patients, and their families, carers and friends outside the hospitals.
We broadcast 24 hours/day, 7 days/week to Salford Royal Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital, as well as online via our website at www.northernair.org.uk.
We are a registered charity run by volunteers and are a member of the Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA).
