Organisation description: Cracking Good Food believe that everyone should have the right to access good affordable food and teaching cooking from scratch skills facilitates that. We support local businesses & growers in order to boost the local economy, whilst campaigning against foodwaste, unnecessary packaging, and promote everything that is in harmony with the environment. For the last two years we have focussed on teaching residents in hostels through the Manchester Adult Education Programme.
We’re a non-hierarchical team of many driven individuals who believe that we can live well, affordably and sustainably, when working together for the common good. Established as a social enterprise in 2010, 80% of our work is with communities in need.
