Reduce risk of (re) offending
Build more cohesive and safer communities
Improve mental well being including increased confidence and self worth

Odd Arts delivers issue based theatre programmes to people within the community, education and criminal justice sector. Odd Arts uses theatre to challenge the way people think and behave. Odd Arts specialises in developing forum theatre performances & therapeutic theatre programmes for violence reduction (radicalisation, domestic abuse, exploitation, sexual assault, youth violence) and mental wellbeing and resilience building (including prevention programmes as well as work within secure hospitals). Odd Arts sits on the UK’s National Arts Alliance for Criminal Justice and took part in a U.S. Embassy Exchange to Boston in 2017 on Countering Violent Extremism. In 2019 Odd Arts presented and performed at European Parliament as an example of best practice in Radicalisation prevention. Odd Arts is a multi- award winning charity that uses theatre to hold challenging discussions around mental health, hate, cohesion & vulnerability and strive to give the least heard a voice and increased opportunities for the future.
