Organisation description: The Merry Trotter is a local group providing heritage and heritage projects to care and residential establishments, community groups, schools and young peoples organisations.
All our experiences are social, fun and educational. The latest project is our Mobile Museum of Memorabilia. It has over 300 objects from work, home and leisure environments it is ideal for reminiscence, memory recall and an effective way for young people to learn what life was like for their forefathers.
Other projects include Medieval Experiences, Victorian Britain, Life In The Post War Years and traditional toys, games and crafts.
Our sessions, presentations and talks are all hands-on giving a direct connection to the past.
