Organisation description: The Naz provides a free cafe which runs 3 days a week. This is a place where people can meet in safety without judgement and with acceptance.
We also provide a food pantry (open alongside the cafe days) where individuals can purchase items of food for subsidised money which in turn supports them with their finances and offers opportunity to purchase better quality foods to promote and improve dietary intake and wellbeing.
In addition to the cafe and food pantry we also run a recycling clothing outlet where people can buy good quality clothing for minimal cost.
We also look for opportunities to work in partnership with other local community agents ie Housing associations, local residential establishments, etc.
A weekly free craft group also meets to find creative ways of expressing themselves and also finding/creating social networks and connections.
In additional to the above, the building is available for rental from local groups at very reasonable rates in order to provide activities that focus on health and wellbeing both physically, mentally and psychologically.
